How many times have you found yourself
in the position to be accused.
Parents, friends, teachers,
everyone asks you,
everyone wants to know:
where are you going, what do you do, who do you want to be like?
And you who respond promptly
to demonstrate that you are present.
Demonstrate that you have conformed to your studies,
that you are prepared
to meet every expectation
and it doesn’t matter who it comes from.
Until you realize
that what others expect
is different from what you want.
Understand that you have only learned
to suffocate what you are,
in order to be accepted.
Then comes the great confusion:
who am I,
where do I come from,
where is my realization?
You start to wonder
how I could only go along with
other people’s ideas,
even if they wanted what was best for me.
Those who ask, do commands,
you begin to ask yourself: “who am I, what do I want now,
what do I want to be, what do I want to give,
whom do I want to live with, whom do I want to conform to?”
The mind can no longer lie.
Now you are ready and you can manage it.
You no longer accept the first answer
because the stakes are now too high.
Now you are ready to become
that soul who came down to experience.
